This winter has been a significant one for us. We moved our company from Indianapolis and set up a brand new office in Orlando, and we used that transition to really plan and brainstorm what Fellow Threads is all about. It may seem like we’ve been somewhat quiet these past few months, when really we have been tirelessly developing brand new products and finalizing our upcoming spring and summer adventures. Well, it’s finally time to start bringing all of our hard work to life! On Friday night, we took to Twitter with two, huge announcements:
On March 14, we are releasing ALL NEW beautiful products for spring and summer. We have new styles of denim customization, and we plan on keeping our most popular T-shirt designs in stock (possibly updating a few). Most excitingly, however, we are introducing, for the first time, a selection of bags. All of the bags are hand-stitched by us and the fabric is personally selected by our head designer and founder, Lauren. Futhermore, and what you don’t see from the preview image above, is that there will be multiple versions of these bags to choose from that are aimed to fit each of your individual styles. We truly believe you guys will love the bags just as much as we do. Be sure to visit fellowthreads.com to get your hands on them!
Many of you guessed it! We are officially back on Vans Warped Tour this summer! We had such an amazing time last summer that we just couldn’t pass up the chance to experience it all again. We were completely taken aback by how supportive and enthusiastic and lovely you guys were in person, and we want to see you all again, and meet even more of you this time around. Like last time, we are opting for select dates of the tour rather than the entire shabang, so when we have the dates and locations locked down we will post them ASAP. We can’t wait to be back on the road! You can check out our adventures from Warped Tour 2013 on our main website!
We are thrilled with how our summer is turning out so far, and it hasn’t even happened yet. Make sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook to receive updates and information about everything mentioned above. This is just the tip of the iceberg, people. We have even more planned for you guys, but we’re just going to let all of this simmer for now. Get ready. Things are about to get exciting and, should I say, magical around here.
Happy 2014, friends! It’s a brand new year, and that means brand new everything. For so many, a new year means a fresh start, but it’s also the perfect time to reflect. We are very big believers in living in the moment and tackling opportunities head on, however, we also believe in learning and growing from past experiences. So many defining moments happened in 2013. In fact, it has been our most adventurous year yet. We were lucky enough to travel with Vans Warped Tour, we moved the company from Indianapolis to Orlando, we are slowly, but surely, gaining attention overseas. It’s a lot, and at times overwhelming, but only in the best way. It’s nice to be busy doing something you love. Having said that, we gladly resolve to work smarter, not harder, in 2014. Don’t get me wrong, we aren’t afraid of hard work — this business would be nothing without it (and our Warped experience will always be nostalgic blend of blood, sweat and tears) — we just plan to take what we learned this past year and refine it. In the spirit of reflection, here are some of our most favorite, special moments from 2013.
These people have forever changed my life.

So, we want to know: What are your resolutions for 2014? What do you want to do better? Mainly, we want to continue working passionately, maintaining a close relationship with our customers. To our most loyal clientele, to anyone who has just browsed the site, or liked an Instagram post, we can’t thank you enough. Your support is everything, and if we have inspired you in any way, then we consider our job well done. Now, here’s to making 2014 even better!
It’s here! Our fall-winter line, The Lost & Found Collection, launched November 1 and we are so excited to finally share what we’ve been working so hard on. The theme is all about comfort and nostalgia. It’s about grabbing your favorite T-shirt from your boyfriend’s closet (or floor), throwing on a gigantic pullover, tying a comfy flannel around your waist, or simply pulling on a beanie and rocking your day. It’s about pieces that not only make you feel comfortable, but confident about yourself. We also love the simple nods to 90s grunge that we are forever mesmerized by.
It’s not always easy to dress fashionably when the weather gets steadily colder, but we refuse to lay down and play dead just because it’s winter. Enjoy our beautiful lookbook and get inspired!
“For me, it’s not necessarily a particular piece of clothing or outfit, but more a style choice. When I want to feel comfortable and confident, no questions asked, I go with black. There’s nothing like an all black outfit. My absolute favorite combination is my black H&M pullover, leggings, black leather knee-high boots, topped off with my gold-rimmed Ray-Bans. Boom. Black is classic and easy and won’t ever go out of style.” — Ashley
“The go-to staple of my closet, especially for fall, is my oversized camo jacket. I wear it with cutoff shorts and flats on warmer days or leggings and boots when the weather gets cooler. I can dress it up or down, and the neutral colors allow for easy pairing with denim, black, brown or almost any color. If you’re like me, fall is all about comfort. My favorite looks for the season are ones that make me feel great without sacrificing style.” — Lauren
“Flannels! I always try to pair a flannel with a cute, stylish outfit. Flannels are always a good pop of color to an outfit and they can be dressed up or down. My all-time favorite flannel is my black BDG one from Urban Outfitters. It’s comfortable and always makes me love my outfit. I pair it with some knee-high socks and boots and I’m good to go.” — Annie
“My go-to favorite outfit includes black leggings and boots. I can easily dress it up with a longer shirt layered with a shorter jacket or a cardigan, and always with lots of accessories: necklaces and bracelets. The same leggings and boots can be casual and cozy with a bulky sweater, or a crew neck and scarf.” — Lynne
One of the biggest trends this fall is anything and everything flannel, plaid and tartan. We got you. In the Vintage section of our online store we have a variety of button-ups that are absolutely perfect for finishing off an autumn ensemble. Substitute a flannel for a jacket as the weather gets cooler, pair it with denim cut-offs (before it gets too cold) or just tie it around your waist to show off your grunge/punk side. We all have one.
We are currently neck deep in our fall/winter line so be sure to stay tuned and in touch. Be on the lookout for new things later in October, and in the meantime we’ll be posting some of our biggest inspirations and influences for this line. We’re especially excited about these pieces, and we can’t wait for you all to have them!
